Maximum callus induction frequency was achieved on MS media along with 2.0 mg/L of 2, 4 D alone with Somatic embryo and 2.0 mg/L of BAP in combination of 0.5 mg/L of IAA. Induction of multiple shoots was achieved on IAA in combination of BAP 0.5 mg/L and 1.5 mg/L. Standard protocol was established for micro propagation of herbal drugs using IAA, 2, 4 D, BAP and KIN.
