A survey of plant parasitic nematodes associated with medicinal plants carried out in different localities of Imphal West district of Manipur revealed the occurrence of a large number of known tylenchids. In this survey, five known species i.e. Scutellonema africanum, Scutellonema clathricaudatum, Scutellonema. commune, Scutellonema imphalus and Scutellonema sheri were recorded.
