Abstract
The Botanic Garden of Yogi Vemana University
has been involved in the conservation of endemic, threatened, and medicinal
plants in the Eastern Ghats of Andhra Pradesh. A total of 8 Andrographis
species belonging to the Acanthaceae family were collected from the Eastern
Ghats of Andhra Pradesh and are being maintained in a botanic garden.
