Chromosome number of some medicinal angiosperms: A review article

Abstract
A total of thirty four (34) Angiosperm species
belonging to 27 genera and 9 families are selected for compilation of
chromosome number. Chromosome number and ploidy shows great variations from
species to species. Some species have different genera as well as family but
chromosome number is same. These chromosomal changes provides information about
the evolutionary behaviour of the species.
